Woodstone Team Jeffrey Smith, CEO Jeff's organization skills and attention to detail and quality are key ingredients to Woodstone's success. On a daily basis he is in close contact with Woodstone buyers, contractors, and staff. Jeff brings to the business his MBA and acute analytical and financial experience. His background makes him a natural for working with buyers, from pre-planning through the execution of their plans. Adept at business details of home building and developing land, Jeff spends much of his day in the office designing and pricing homes for construction, researching home building products, preparing specifications for home construction and land development, and scheduling jobs. Jeff's initial meeting with prospective homebuyers begins with reviewing the buyer's "wish list"; in addition, market trends are discussed as well as cost/benefit relationships of typical amenities. Preliminary pricing is subsequently prepared for the buyer and parameters for design are finalized with the buyer based on a tailored fit between the wish list and pricing details. Meetings are then initiated with Woodstone's architect to translate the design parameters into preliminary and final building plans. Once plans are complete, a construction contract is formulated which translates the plans and specifications into reality. Jeff's continuous involvement in the design/build process, along with his 30 years of building experience help create a seamless process that ensures a new home that is a perfect fit with the buyer's dreams and budget. Dan Smith, Project Manager Dan's outgoing personality makes him well suited for his role with Woodstone. A graduate of Stonehill College, Dan has been with Woodstone full or part time for over 11 years. Along with his day-to-day responsibilities of coordinating contractors' specifications and activities, he is responsible for coordinating final pre-closing inspections and adjustments, and providing support for materials management, site improvements, site maintenance, and town inspections. In addition, he assists buyers in the field with any questions they may have regarding construction activities and scheduling. Tim Smith, Contract and Operations Director A 2004 graduate of Bucknell University, Tim has been with Woodstone full or part time for over 8 years. Administrative responsibilities include assisting with marketing, maintenance of Woodstone's web site, and contract management support. Tim's role begins prior to construction, when he meets with buyers to provide details regarding Woodstone's building process and procedures. During construction Tim assists buyers with selections and construction decisions. From contract inception to the completion of the home, Tim's involvement with buyers helps take the stress out of new home construction! Robert Sandman, Field Technician In addition to Bob's over 20 years with Woodstone as their field technician, he previously framed a number of Woodstone homes when he headed his own rough framing crew in the early 80's. Bob is truly a jack-of-all-trades. He is responsible for checking the final fit and finish of all Woodstone homes and for following through with coordinating service work during the warranty period. In addition, he fills in for many trades during construction, while still having time to sharpen his carpentry skills building most of Woodstone's exterior wood decks. His in-depth construction knowledge, endless commitment to detail, and gentle personality are key to Woodstone's ability to deliver consistent and superior quality. Jodi Weinberger, Woodstone Custom Homes, Inc. Jodi has over 20 years of professional sales experience and a thorough knowledge of Woodstone’s specifications and building process. As a current resident of Pittsford and a lifelong resident of the Rochester area she has a keen awareness of the area. Jodi manages all aspects of Woodstone's sales and marketing program, including scheduling and staffing open houses, developing and coordinating advertising, and meeting with prospective buyers and realtors. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction makes her a valuable asset of the Woodstone Team. Patrick Morabito, Patrick J. Morabito A.I.A. Architect Pat Morabito has been personally involved in the design of nearly every Woodstone Custom Home since Woodstone's inception in 1978. The association of Morabito and Woodstone has been a remarkably good fit for both companies, and has been largely due to the strength of the personal and professional relationship between Jeff Smith and Pat Morabito. Both have been very successful in fostering a seamless design process involving the buyer, builder, and architect to create home plans that meet the dreams of the buyers as well as the realities of the buyer's budget and the real estate market. Pat's involvement with the buyer typically begins with an initial consultation to discuss the design parameters with the buyer and Jeff that have been established based on the buyer's budget and "wish list". This consultation leads to a preliminary plan for review by the buyer and pricing by Woodstone. Based on buyer input and further consultation as appropriate, a final home plan is ultimately prepared. As a licensed architect, Pat designs the homes and ensures the structural integrity of each home, providing detailed architectural plans for construction. Mike DelVecchio, Dell's House of Kitchens Mike DelVecchio has been designing kitchens and other cabinetry in Woodstone homes for over 20 years. Mike's skills as a designer have been demonstrated over and over in our homes and his cabinetry designs have been featured in Architectural Digest. As one of the nations largest distributors of Wood-Mode cabinetry, Dell's House of Kitchens is indispensable member of the Woodstone Team. Once construction begins, and after consultation with each buyer at Dell's showroom, Mike designs the kitchens and cabinetry for the new home in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. He works with buyers to design cabinetry plans that fit both their taste and their budget parameters. Ultimately, detailed cabinetry plans are provided which are then integrated with the ongoing field construction of the home. As with other "Team" members, Mike plays an important role in providing consistent overall value in each Woodstone home. Bev Dyminski, Bev Dyminski Interior Design Specifying interior and exterior selections for a new home can be an enjoyable experience when provided with the proper assistance. Woodstone makes the task enjoyable by providing professional decorating service to buyers. Bev Dyminski assists each buyer in coordinating selections for their new home. Through a series of consultations Bev will assist in coordinating selections including flooring, cabinetry, tile, paint colors, and exterior elements of the home. Whether the buyer's taste is traditional, contemporary, or an eclectic mix of both, her goal is to ensure that selections are well coordinated, and a reflection of the buyer's personal style. Dan Milke, Shadow Hill Landscaping Exterior landscaping is often considered the "final touch" to a Woodstone home. Dan Milke, of Shadow Hill Landscaping has been working with Woodstone buyers for over 20 years. After consultation with each buyer at his nursery, Dan designs walkway and landscaping plans to fit the home and the buyers' preferences in terms of both budget and plant material. Detailed plans are finalized with the buyers and are utilized for completing the exterior landscaping work. Dan is also responsible for lawn installation. His knowledge of landscape and plant materials, construction expertise, and design flair make him an ideal "Team" member to complete the home.
